Hillegon Brunt (1964) makes unusual portraits of people. Human and animal are used as main inspiration sources. The portraits reveal a unique presence and characteristics of an individual suggested through a non-blatant presentation of a mask. Brunt’s drawings deal with the perfection of natural creation in such a way that the portraits seem to move almost breath by themselves.
